When will Cork City Fire Brigade be recruiting?
Cork City Fire Brigade are currently not recruiting. Nine new recruits joined in September 2008 and are currently undergoing training.
The next recruitment drive is expected in 2013. Vacancies will be advertised in the National Newspapers and on this website.

Why is my emergency phone call not answered by my local fire station?
The mobilization of the Cork City Fire Service has been coordinated by the Munster Regional Control Centre since 2005. This centre is located in Limerick. It provides emergency call–taking and mobilization services for 10 Local Authorities in the Munster region.
